This high style Federal dwelling was designed by Lemuel Porter for Augustus Baldwin, one of four brothers who settled in Hudson from Goshen, Connecticut.  Their father, Stephen, was one of five original owners of Hudson Township.  The front porch is a 20th century addition.  Next Stop: Clock Tower.
