When built in 1836 by carpenter/architect Leander Starr for Dr. Israel Town, this was a high style, columned Greek Revival house.  In 1877 it was Victorianized, losing both its wings, one of which became the house at 25 East Streetsboro Street. Next Stop: Hudson Town Hall.
